Abstract

This paper is a research and analytical work about the exemplary leadership of Prophet Muhammad as a conqueror and supreme commander. It also discusses the deep topicality of Prophetic leadership in the management of modern crises of morality, state, and world order. Based on the Seerah (life biography), Quranic teachings, and the Hadith, the paper focuses on exploring some of the most important dimensions of leadership such as the theoretical and intellectual background of leadership, the fundamental principles during his life, such as justice and equality, consultation (Shura), patience, resilience, and dependence on Allah and military strategies as a commander. The study examines defense and preemptive actions, tactical genius in key conflicts such as Badr, Uhud and the Trench (Khandaq), intelligence, discipline and organization. Specific attention is given to the Conquest of Makkah, with its moral aspects, its origin and reasons, its bloodless triumph due to prudent policy, his general amnesty, and his kind treatment of the old foes. More parts deal with ethics in wartime, safeguard of human rights, humane treatment of prisoners, mercy, forgiveness, and tolerance. The paper ends with a comparative study with the current leadership theories and lessons to be applied in the current day administrative, military and organizational institutions to enhance global peace and conflict resolution. Results confirm that Prophetic leadership is a value-based model of timeless leadership that combines vision, moral responsibility, servant leadership and strategic vision. It even transcends most contemporary structures based on the divine morality and human dignity as the foundation of leadership. The example of the Prophet can be used by contemporary individuals to create just, strong, and inclusive communities in the face of moral decay, authoritarianism, and geopolitical wars.
