Abstract

The article “The Importance of Reasoning to Measurement in Arabic Grammer” is discussing importance of reasoning according to classical and contemporary scholars of “Ilm-o-Alnehv”. Reasoning is one of the most important features of Arabic grammar. This research is divided into five parts: an introduction, three chapters, and a conclusion. The first chapter deals with the reasoning of grammatical analogies and consists of three chapters: the concept of grammatical analogy, its types, and its pillars. The second chapter deals with the concept of grammatical reasoning, its origins, and its types. It consists of three chapters: the concept of grammatical reasoning and reasoning, the origin and development of grammatical reasoning, and types of reasoning. The third chapter addresses the views of ancient and contemporary scholars on grammatical reasoning.

There is no grammatical rule that scholars have not reasoned. Every rule has a reason, and every grammatical phenomenon has a reason. This is what makes many non-Arabs attest to the uniqueness of Arabic thought and admire the mastery of Arabic grammar.
