Abstract

This paper researches the frontiers of how seasonal changes affect human life as it is expressed in the Quran and also Hadith. The seasons, their periods of heat, cold, rain, and drought have been placed by the Muslim scripture not only as natural events but as evidence of the power, wisdom, and mercy of Allah. The Quran constantly alludes to seasons as a reminder of Godly order, rain as a life-giving and blessing and drought as an ordeal or outcome of human misdeeds. In the same way, the literature of Hadiths shows how Prophet Muhammad instructed Muslims to react to the changes of seasons using particular prayers, religious practices and moral considerations. The article discusses the complex roles of seasons and their impact on the lives of people concerning physical health, psychological well being, economic endeavours and spiritual growth. It demonstrates how heat, cold, and rainfall directly influence human health, agricultural productivity, and livelihoods, influence human temperament, resilience and social structures as well. The variations of seasons act as a source of development of patience, gratitude and awareness of the Hereafter. As an example, fasting during summer is an endurance exercise, whereas, when it is winter, night prayers are promoted, both of them building on the spiritual discipline. Additionally, humans were called upon to ensure that the environment is balanced as highlighted in the teachings of Islam that discourage wastage of resources, cutting trees, and wasting natural resources. The relation between environmental imbalance and negative climatic effects as mentioned in the Quran are in unison with modern arguments about climate change. The research is able to establish that the order of the seasons is within a divine reality created to benefit man and teach him morals through making comparisons between the teachings of the Islamic religion and the contemporary scientific outlook. In conclusion, the Quran and Hadith present seasons as dynamic instr scriptures of sacred teachings which mold the human health, economy, spirituality, and social order. The present research upholds the necessity to embrace the Islamic ecology, enhance community resilience, promote gratitude, and patience as the ways to survive the challenge and potentials of seasonal shifts.
