Abstract

Women in Pakistan face significant challenges in accessing education, which affect their academic progress and societal equality. These challenges include socio-cultural barriers, poverty, gender discrimination, and limited access to educational institutions, especially in rural areas. Traditional gender roles, early marriages, and safety concerns further hinder women's educational opportunities. To address these issues, it is crucial to enhance government investment in education, implement targeted scholarship programs, and improve infrastructure in remote regions. Additionally, raising awareness about the importance of women's education at the community level is essential. By adopting a multi-faceted approach involving the government, educational institutions, and society, these barriers can be reduced, leading to greater educational empowerment for women in Pakistan.
